Chris Jackson has been working in education for nearly thirty years, most recently as the founding principal of Invictus School in Hong Kong. He is now pleased to be part of the team at Lead Ascent.

Chris began his journey as an educator with a Bachelors of Education degree from Westminster College, Oxford, in the United Kingdom. Since then he has worked as a teacher and manager in various schools and organisations, including the British Council, ESF, French International School, and Invictus School, Hong Kong. 

In his roles as a teacher and a subject leader, he has worked with a wide range of established curricular programmes, including UK National Curriculum, IPC, Cambridge, and IB. In all of these learning environments, Chris has been passionate about unlocking potential and creating opportunities, helping children learn in ways which are relevant and meaningful for them, to help prepare them for success in the futures that they will inhabit.

In his managerial and senior leadership positions, Chris values working in partnership with parents and school communities. As a long term Hong Kong resident, and with the experience of setting up a brand new school, Chris is familiar with government and regulatory structures for schools, accreditation with international educational organisations, and the competitive international school market in Asia.
