International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is a two-year course that includes three core subjects and six elective groups. The highest score that candidates can achieve in the IBDP is 45 points. Completing the core subjects can earn a maximum of three points, while the subject grades in the elective groups range from 1 to 7 points. Therefore, the highest score that can be achieved in the elective courses is 42 points.

Core Subjects

The core subjects consist of Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Extended Essay (EE), and Creativity, Action, Service (CAS).

Elective Groups

The elective groups are divided into six categories, and candidates must select one subject from each of the six groups. These six groups are:

1) Language and Literature, where candidates must conduct literary analysis and inquiry at their mother tongue level;

2) Language Acquisition, which is based on learning a second language;

3) Individuals and Societies, which includes humanities subjects such as philosophy, geography, psychology, history, and anthropology;

4) Sciences, which includes biology, physics, and computer science;

5) Mathematics, which includes mathematics and mathematical studies; and

6) Arts, which includes film, visual arts, and music.

The subjects chosen by candidates are further divided into Higher Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL), with differences in teaching hours and exam requirements. Candidates must have at least three subjects at the Higher Level to obtain the diploma.

Course Features

The IB program places a strong emphasis on inspiring students' thinking and fosters the spirit of teamwork and inquiry throughout the curriculum. Even the desks and chairs are arranged in a circular shape to facilitate group discussions. This approach not only aims to eliminate fixed thinking patterns but also nurtures children's unique capabilities. In addition, the IBDP is highly recognized internationally, allowing students to use their scores to apply for universities in the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, and even local universities.

Career-related Programme (IBCP)

The IBCP is an innovative educational framework designed for students aged 16 to 19. It is tailored for students who wish to engage in career-related learning and also provides them with the International Baccalaureate (IB Diploma) courses and their core subjects. Students who obtain the IBCP certificate, if they meet the grade requirements, can apply to degree or foundation degree programs at colleges and universities worldwide. The CP program consists of three core components: career-related learning, personal and professional skills courses, and at least two IBDP courses, such as languages, sciences, humanities, and mathematics.

Core Subjects

The core subjects consist of career-related learning, personal and professional skills courses, and at least two IBDP courses.

Course Features

The IBCP prepares students for higher education and employment by providing a solid academic foundation, practical skills, and hands-on experiences. The IBCP education encourages students to develop a broader range of personal expertise and professional skills to pursue their career aspirations and personal interests and strengths. The fields of professional skills in the IBCP include music, arts and design, visual arts, drama, and sports, among others. This program collaborates with universities around the world, providing advantages for students who want to focus on developing career skills.
